I was born in Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 1975.
I started playing guitar since he was a kid, at the beginning on my own, then following private courses.
My passion for handworks and handcrafting started since my first age and it flowed naturally into the art of making musical instruments, matching together my love for music and wood.
My first step in the art of making stringed instruments started in 1997 when I followed the two years making guitar course in Modena under the guide of M° Roberto Masetti and M° Paolo Coriani.
I worked in partnership with Masetti from 1999 and on his own from 2001.
I followed the violin making school of Pieve di Cento in 2002 under the guide of M° Marcello Bellei and M° Lorenzo Frignani.
I started collaborating with M° Marco Piccinotti from 2003 improving his handcrafting and finishing techniques.
During my career I made classic, acoustic, electric guitars, acoustic basses, mandolins in addition to violins, violas and cellos.
I graduated in Jazz guitar Banchelor of Music at the “Frescobaldi” conservatory of Ferrara in February 2012.
I graduated in Jazz guitar Master’s degree at the “Martini” conservatory of Bologna in April 2016.
I live and work in Reggio Emilia where I mainly make and repair violins, violas, cellos and classic guitars, occasionally I also make acoustic guitar and basses.
